Announcement from the CEO
It has been a busy first half of 2018 since joining the team, forming Callisto Agency Systems and rebranding the product as “a3”.
Throughout the past six months, we have employed a new CTO, added developer resources, on-boarded new customers and been busy working on new features and ideas for the future roadmap of a3. All this has been done with one goal: to help Agents become more efficient, and handle more business, with less work.
We recognised that in order to develop and expand a3, we required additional support and investment from an entity with the requisite industry knowledge and expertise to best serve our existing and future customers.
The details regarding the formation of Callisto as an entity are not something I could previously divulge for reasons of confidentiality. However, I am now pleased to confirm that Callisto Agency Systems Co. Limited is a joint venture between Stage 3 Systems and The Marcura Group. Both Stage 3 Systems and Marcura, have a track record of bringing scalable products to the maritime market, which, combined with the technical expertise of the a3 technical team, will enable our proven Agency software product to add more value than ever before. With the additional support of Marcura, we can now take a3 to the next stage of its development.
As you know Stage 3 Systems have moved a number of key staff permanently to Callisto. We’re pleased to build on their experience in this business as the day to day managing partner. No DA Desk or Marcura staff are involved in day to day operations.
I am excited to have both Stage 3 Systems and Marcura as partners in Callisto and I am confident that we can continue to grow a3 to be a leading platform for Agents.
