We are pleased to announce and introduce our Nomination Approval Dashboard!
This dashboard will provide a greater level of oversight and management capabilities on your appointments and nominations within a3. It is essentially a tool that enables an extra focused validation mechanism, allowing vital information to be checked and amended if required. Here at a3, we value our customers feedback and have listened to your criticisms openly. We understand that accuracy of information is of paramount importance and we hope that added value will be garnered with this new, valuable tool in your a3 arsenal.
Overview
From the Nomination Approval Dashboard, you can get a clear overview of all essential information, which can be filtered per Office allowing for a more granular rundown. From here, you also have the ability to amend this information should that be required. As you can see from the below clip, you can edit both the Principal as well as the Nominating parties. A key feature to note is that you can also check the Principal's address to ensure that the details that will be presented on the Final DA document are accurate. Please also note that if you have an external code set against a Principal, this will also appear here. In the event that a change is made on the Principal field, the address is automatically updated too.
Approving a Nomination
A Nomination cannot be approved unless there is a Nominating Party set, as seen below. You will note that the Approved button is not present for the nomination that does meet this prerequisite, but as soon as a Nominating Party is set, this option will appear to you:
Once you have checked that all the data is correct within a nomination, and the nominating party/parties have been set, you can now click Approve. This will automatically move the nomination to the Approved Appointments section towards the bottom of the page, as seen below:
It is important to note that if the Nominating Parties or Principals are altered on any nomination, it will be un-approved, placing it back into the main list for further review.
